I’ve been watching some classic films lately to get some Starlet inspiration. I watched the classic French film, Belle De Jour, years ago but I decided to re-watch it with fresh eyes. The film is a bit bizarre, but the fashion is unbelievable! I know everyone gushes, and rightfully so, over Catherine Deneuve. However, I became fixated on French actress Maria Latour. With her big hair, dramatic winged liner, and sexy trench coat, she reminded me of a red headed Brigitte Bardot. I was so inspired by her hair and makeup that I decided to created this Belle De Jour Inspired Makeup Look… just in time for Valentine’s Day!
