This weekend was my dance studio’s annual dance recital. It is an exhausting weekend where I dance, help out with the kids, and MC the show. Luckily, in all the confusion, I managed to snap a few Instagram pics from my weekend of sweat and sequins….
The weekend starts with Thursday night and a stage rehearsal. It’s the first time we do our dances on stage… but without the pressure of our costumes. This is the little corner of dance shoes that became my sanctuary that night…
This year I got a chance to wear my DIY Rhinestone Tap Shoes again…
Friday and Saturday was the Dress Rehearsal and the Recital. This was my Movie Star Dressing Room….
Showing a little leg in fishnets and red nails….
Stepping into my tutu for my tango inspired ballet dance….
Getting my bustle on…
This was the opening number costume, and what I had to wear for my opening monologue… it left teal glitter everywhere… almost like fairy dust but harder to clean…
This Barbie’s Dream Hair faux bun was a last min purchase on the sale rack at Claires. It matched my hair perfectly and saved me a ton of time this weekend. Best $2 purchase I’ve ever made….
These are the most gorgeous pink roses… a gift from my dance teacher as a thank you for MCing the recital…..
That was my weekend…. be sure to follow me on Instagram!
Kisses
