Welcome to my new blog!
A little bit about me: I am currently a comedian/writer, and I have worked in the fields of beauty and fashion. I have also had a love affair with Old Hollywood glamour and anything vintage for most of my life. I work in stand-up comedy which is really a man’s world and I subscribe to Marilyn Monroe’s philosophy that “I don’t mind living in a man’s world as long as I can be a woman in it.” I try to bring my own sense of style and femininity to everything that I do. In a male dominated field like comedy, I try to embrace what makes me different and unique, because I also believe:
I think it’s a shame that modern life has eliminated a lot of the glamour and femininity of the women of the past. I hope to entertain you (and even make you laugh) but mostly I hope you can learn how to bring a little glamour into your own life and embrace your own unique femininity. I believe that no matter what her profession, marital/parental status, age, size, or shape that every woman deserves to be the star of her own movie.
