This may not seem “fair”, but men and women are just different.

Men are the givers and women are the receivers. When a woman has to give in order to receive, it feels off… deep down it’s doesn’t feel safe.

For example, if a woman cleans the bathroom and her husband buys her flowers… she may like that, but it will feel transactional. She will register it as payment for her labor.

But if her husband brings her flowers just because he knew she would love them, it will feel special. She will appreciate it because it feels like a genuine expression of love.

Men are the opposite.

If men are given anything in a relationship without conditions he will never appreciate it. Men thrive in challenge, so they only appreciate what they had to earn.

If we understand and accept that men and women are just different then we can have happier, healthier relationships in the future.
