Kylie Cosmetics Kylighter Review & Swatches

When a hyped makeup product like highlighters meets a hyped celebrity makeup brand like Kylie Cosmetics, the makeup world goes into a hype overload.  So when Kylie released her Kylighters I had to collect them all and try them out to give you a Kylie Cosmetics Kylighter Review & Swatches….

Kylie Cosmetics Kylighter Review & Swatches

While I bought the entire highlighters collection, I knew that not all the shades would work on my skin tone.  I tested them all as highlighters, and as eye shadows, and I was surprised at the results.  I’m also hunting for the dupes from Becca’s Champagne Pop and Moonstone.  Here is my full review…

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick Spicy Dupe from the Drugstore

I don’t know about you but I am craving spring in the worst way.  It doesn’t feel like it yet here in New England, but a part of me hopes that if I pretend it’s Spring then it will hurry up and get here (like a “if you build it it will come” kinda thing).  One of my favorite Spring looks is a bright lip, and as much as I love a red pout, sometimes I like to change things up.  I’ve recently had a thing for a bold orange lip.  After seeing the ABH Lip Color in Spicy all over Instagram I knew I had to try it.  Unfortunately the formula is so dry my lips look like a desert when I wear it.  I set out to find that shade in a more comfortable (and affordable) formula… and I think I’ve found it in the Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in Flame.  So check out my side by side comparison to see a possible Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick Spicy Dupe….

Nothing Over $10 | Valentine’s Day Glitter Lips Makeup Look

Valentine’s Day is a controversial holiday.  Some argue that it’s just a day to make single people feel lonely, and some say that you shouldn’t need a greeting card holiday to show someone you love them.  If you’re like me, it’s just another day I get to play with makeup.  Anyway you look at, you’re makeup look shouldn’t be expensive… better to save your money for chocolates and flowers, to treat yourself obviously!  That’s why I came up with a Nothing Over $10 Makeup Look to wear for your Valentine’s Day date or Galentine’s Day Girls Night….

This look is affordable, and even includes the trendy Glitter Lips look.  I used the Tattoo Junkee Sparkle Lip Paint in Pucker Up (see my review here).  They are not only affordable, but super long lasting and kiss proof… besides, what better day than Valentine’s Day to call attention to your lips!

MUFE HD Foundation Dupe? Revlon Airbrush Effect Foundation Review

I love a good drugstore dupe.  So when I was doing my drugstore dupes version of the Kylie Jenner Snapchat Makeup Tutorial, I had to search for a MUFE HD Foundation Dupe.  The one that seemed to keep popping up on blogs and Pinterest was the Revlon Airbrush Effect Foundation.  So I decided to test them side by side to see if it really is a dupe…..

MUFE HD Foundation Dupe? Revlon Airbrush Effect Foundation Review

I tested the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation in my Medium Coverage Foundations review, and it’s not my favorite.  Truth be told, my Too Faced Born This Way Foundation is my Ride or Die.  But since the MUFE foundation is so popular I decided to see if I could save you a little money and test a possible dupe.  Here’s what I discovered….
