With the Holiday Season upon us, sparkle is everywhere! As a Starlet, I could not be happier! I would add sparkle to just about anything. So I was excited to see it even showing up on denim.
I’ve been seeing embellished boyfriend jeans popping up in fashion magazines. They’re a great holiday option for a night out or a holiday party where you want to be casual yet still festive. However, embellished denim can be expensive.
I’ve come up with the absolute easiest DIY ever. I took some brooches (also a big trend right now) and pinned them on my boyfriend jeans. This way you can control where you want the embellishment, and you can change up the same jeans to look brand new every night of the week (but don’t forget to do laundry eventually).
You can get this look with any brooches, just make sure they are secure so you don’t loose them, or worse, stab yourself. Check your favorite stores for brooches, or find some vintage ones on Etsy.
I completed this look with a cozy sweater, and a faux fur stole and satchel to bring out the vintage vibe.
Shop this look:Sweater: Zara Sweater with Turtleneck//Jean: Forever 21(old)//Sunglasses: GoJane (no longer available…also seen here & here)//Faux Fur Stole: Forever 21//Bag: Express Bar Accent Winged Satchel//Boots:Forever 21 Metallic Heel Chelsea Bootie// Brooches: Old, I’ve had them forever//Lipstick: Mac Plumful
