The Best Bronzers for Fair Skin

Finding the perfect bronzer when you’re fair skinned, especially if you’re more cool toned than warm, can be a huge challenge.  You want to look naturally sun-kissed, but not orange.

For many years now I have been embracing my pale and skipping bronzers altogether.  But I’ve rediscovered my desire for a Summer glow.  So I decided to go through my bronzer collection and see which ones worked and which ones were a fail.

I tried some old favorites like the Physicians Formula City Glow Bronzer in New York, The Body Shop Bronzing Powder Light Matte, Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil, and Clinique Cheek Pop Blush Pop in Nude Pop.

…And some classics like Nars Laguna Bronzer .

As well as some first impressions of newer bronzers like the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer, and the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light.
