Continuing my makeup collection reviews (brighteners here, concealers here, neutralizers here) I decided to move on to foundations.  I had no idea I had so many of them!

The Best & Worst Lightweight Foundations Review

I went through my large foundation collection, wore a different one every day and vlogged my experience with each throughout the day.  When I got through them all I realized that it would take an epic feature length movie to fit in all of my reviews.  So I decided to make it into a mini series, starting with my sheer coverage foundations.

So this review is of all of my sheer coverage foundations, tinted moisturizers, and BB creams. When determining the coverage, I wanted to go with the brands’ definition.  However, some of these are build-able.  I just didn’t build with them because I wanted to test how that were with one application.   Here are the results…

Although I like more coverage when I am wearing a foundation, I thought this was a great review. I actually have the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and love it. I don’t so much wear it for coverage, but instead for a little glow if I don’t have time to do my makeup.

I’m definitely a coverage kinda girl! The LM is great for a glow… I’m kinda bummed it made my skin feel greasy.

Such a great idea! Love how you’re doing these. Wow the Laura Mercier looked way better on you than it did on me, not one of my favorites, but I did look good at first. The healthy mix is my favorite. I was also really impressed with the L’oreal cushion foundation when I tried it out. It’s full coverage with the sponge it comes with, but the color matches are so off. I can’t wear Bobbi brown 🙁 they use lavender oil in the foundations and through time it irritates my skin.

My favorite is MATCH Co. or Koh Gen Do

Thanks Serein! I really hope the Bobbi Brown doesn’t irritate my skin… with my sensitive skin it probably will. I’ll definitely have to check out MATCH and Koh Gen Do! Thanks for the suggestions!
