The Superbowl is coming this weekend, and there is no reason a Starlet can’t get in in the fun. How about some style from one of our favorite Old Hollywood movies, Cat on Hot Tin Roof. Elizabeth Taylor is a desperate housewife trying to seduce her ex-football star husband, Paul Newman. There is no question that they are two of the sexiest stars in all of history. And Ms. Taylor gives a mind-blowing performance… but it’s hard to get past her fabulous fashion…
Starlets are always ready for the movie of their life to become a romance. Sometimes it’s a comedy, sometimes it’s a drama… but it’s always entertaining. So Starlets need a soundtrack for every love story.

We’ve already discussed how much Starlets love to entertain at home…. And great music is a big part of that. You definitely want to create a playlist when planning a get together. It can be music that goes with the theme of the event or just music that you love and think your guests will enjoy. Some things to consider:
•Start with lively music that gets people excited about the party
•Make sure the music isn’t too loud or distracting
•End your playlist with slower music to wind down the event and signal to guests that it’s time to go

…and I love to listen to music and relax in the kitchen when trying new recipes for entertaining or just for everyday meals (when I have time). For this, I have a playlist of Billie Holiday favorites. You could also listen to Amy Winehouse (our generation’s Billie Holiday)… or if you’re cooking Italian, a little Sinatra.

The Grammy Awards are this weekend, so this week is all about music. Starlets are the star of the movie of their life… and every movie needs a soundtrack.
Really any artist, English speaking or not, is great for a workout (Zumba anyone?)…. You can pick artists from the Latin boom of the 90s, or go with current artists. Prince Royce has some great slow Latin music, like one of my favorites, a cover of Stand By Me in English and Spanish, perfect for cool downs.

Starlets love to eat and they love to experiment with food.The end result may not be all that appetizing (or it may be fabulous) but a Starlet always has fun in her kitchen.No one has a more glamorous kitchen than Glamour Goddess Dita Von Teese.The whole kitchen is in her signature color of pink (although she also favors pinks fiery cousin: red)… Jayne Mansfield would have been proud….
