Starlets love to get dressed up for any occasion, and Christmas is no different. How a Starlet dresses for the holidays depends on how she celebrates. Some have more formal celebrations and some have more casual intimate gatherings. Either way, a Starlet puts at least a little more effort into her appearance for Christmas time. Holiday Cocktails
Starlets love Christmas and Cocktails… so holiday themed cocktails are a Starlet favorite.
At Christmas time, Lana Turner treated herself to a Ramos Fizz
… and since Starlets love tradition, Eggnog is a must for tree trimming
Brunch would just not be the same without a Mimosa… so for Christmas Day a Starlet will go for the traditional or a red variation like a Red Stocking….
Red Stockings
Smooth as silk. Alluring, extravagant, simply elegant.

1.5 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
Top with chilled Champagne

Shake all ingredients with ice, except for the Champagne.

A Starlet Christmas Feast
Starlets usually try to eat right and exercise. However holiday time they go all out! Here are some Starlet inspired menu ideas:
Appetizers and Finger Foods
For a cocktail party or tree trimming party go for retro favorites like a Cheese Fondue and/or Deviled Eggs
… and for something sweet, try a Chocolate Dipped Fruit Wreath like this one made my Dita Von Teese
…or try chestnuts roasting on an open fire (or in your oven)
… and don’t forget the Christmas themed candy
Brunch
What would Christmas morning be without brunch (with Mimosas, of course)?… just any other morning. So make it special. Try a Tomato Basil Quiche (it’s so festive with the reds and greens)….
…along with grilled marinated peaches like these made by Dita
Sit Down Dinner
For a full meal, make sure you keep it interesting. Here is a simple menu inspired by Dita Von Teese’s After Christmas Party:
Mixed green salad with goat cheese and Vinaigrette, with your choice of vegetables
… or go with a classic chicken (or vegetarian) pot pie
… or any pasta, from spaghetti and meatballs to (my personal holiday favorite) stuffed shells
…or you can go all out like Dita Von Teese

Christmas is a glamorous holiday, and when you think glamour, you think Starlet. Starlets have a tendency to go a little over the top with decorating… the sparkle it just too tempting to pass up. While most Starlets love tradition, they also like to go a little unique for Christmas time….
Like a tree in her signature style color… like these in pink
or try a Black and White theme
… and maybe a sexy stocking can double as a Christmas Stocking
Wreaths are like jewelry for your house, so they should sparkle
…. and you just may find a feather in unexpected places

Starlet Hobbies
You are officially a Starlet, which means your life is a movie. And your movie would be pretty boring if all you did was sit around and watch TV. Starlets always seek knowledge. Think of it as researching for your role in your life movie. While Starlets tend to choose hobbies that are fitness oriented so she can get a workout in while also having fun. A Starlet likes to exercise her mind as well. Here are some hobbies/classes Starlets enjoy:
Art Classes– like life drawing (Starlets love the human form), painting (she loves colors)
Literature courses– Starlet’s love learning about great writers and might also write poetry…. She most definitely keeps a journal, and plans to write her memoirs one day. Here are some Starlet reading ideas.
Acting classes– whether it’s Stanislavski or a local Improv class, this is the perfect way to add a little theatrics to your life and get you out of your shell.

Shopping– Starlets love fashion, and especially love to shop vintage. Nowadays, many Starlets shop online. Dita Von Teese loves Ebay.com… I’m partial to Etsy. I found this great vintage find on Etsy.com.
Going out to shows– Whether it’s to the ballet, or the theater, Starlets love a live performance
